Low power consumption, great for short runs of up to 5 feet of 12mm neon tubing. Open-frame construction can be mounted just about anywhere.

This low-cost, high-voltage source can operate from a 12 volt battery for field use, or a wall adapter for normal 115 vac use (not included, but sold seperately if needed). Virtually indestructible circuitry is open and short circuit protected and will withstand reasonable amounts of EMP and other abuse. The direct high frequency output can be used to power 2-electrode neon displays such as place stands, small point of purchase displays, home neon, vehicles, plasma and gas discharge display tubes, etc. Includes appropriate input and output leads for easy terminations.

Output is 2kV open circuit at 20ma short circuit, requiring 12 vdc at 0.8 amp input, operating frequency ~35kHz. Open frame. 4-1/4" long x 1-1/2" wide x 1" high.
