| For international orders that require 220V, please note that you will need to purchase a stepdown transformer such as our TR220/110/50. Do not use a "modern" regulated wall adapter to power this device, as the solid state electronics will not function correctly in the ion field. You must use an older-style unregulated wall adapter such as the one included with this item, and if you are overseas at 220V wall power, you must then also use a stepdown transformer. |
This new concept allows larger amounts of ions to be generated as the charge neutralization is greatly reduced over the area circumscribed by the rotating emitting rotor.

A neat desk and conversation piece with the spinning rotor silently reaching a relatively high rotational speed. Operates from 12V with either a 115VAC wall adapter (included) or 12VDC battery (not included). Good for over 400 sq. ft. coverage. The ion flux is easily detectable by our ENPROBE10.
Device Output: Coulomb charge current x seconds. There are 6.25x E18 negative charges (ions) per coulomb. Max current to emitters is 400 µamps. Therefore the unit can produce up to 6.25 x E18 x 400 x E-6 = 2.5 x 10E15 ions/sec.....Good for a large room.
Precautions: Do not use in explosive or flammable atmospheres, as spark discharges may cause dangerous ignitions.
