Circuit produces 25kV open circuit with a short circuit current of less than 1ma. providing a reasonably save high voltage source. Load line is set favorable to ion emitting devices. Circuit has built in open and full short circuit protection and can operate at full output indefinitely. Operation is from any 12 volt 1 amp DC regulated wall adapter, battery or converter. Dimensions are 6" L x 7" H x 2" W.
This device is best-suited for use with our ceramic capacitors or similar (taking care to not overcharge the smaller capacitors). For charging our photo flash and electrolytic capacitors (or similar), the CHARGE800V is better suited.
An external voltmeter is required to monitor charge. Small value capacitors must be charged by quickly applying power as voltage value can be easily exceeded.
Device is basically a two part system consisting of a high voltage high frequency power supply connected into our five stage open multiplier allowing tap downs in 5 Kv increments. This product would cost many times more than our asking price and is available in volume or individual purchases.
