This 5kV 1250J capacitor bank is part of the HEP50 high energy pulser, and provides the energy storage needed to power our high-voltage devices such as the CANCRUC100 Can Crusher, MASS100 Mass Launcher, PPRO100 Plasma Thermal Gun, WIREXPLOD100 Wire Exploder, and other modules. Built with the dual-platform enclosure as shown, which allows the mounting of a Triggered Spark Gap Switch close to the capacitor bank on the lower platform, and the mounting of a module on the upper platform.

Requires a charger to power up the capacitors with energy, such as our CHARGE10000, and a trigger for a controlled and rapid discharge of the stored energy, such as our TRIGATRON10 Triggered Spark Gap Switch.
