Eye Protection from Infrared Lasers
Since you can’t see an IR beam, it's even more important to wear eye protection when using a powerful IR laser.
Protected Wavelengths: 190-540nm & 800-2000nm
Optical Density: OD3 (stops 99.9% of laser light at 190-540nm wavelengths) & OD4 (stops 99.99% of laser light at 800-2000nm wavelengths)
Visible Light Transmission: > 40% (how much non-blocked visible light comes through the safety goggles)
Laser absorption material meets EN207: 1998+A1: 2002 standard
Includes protective carrying case and microfiber cloth. (Although we find that warm water, liquid soap, & gentle fingers give the best scratch-free clean.)
Note: these goggles also protect against UV (190-400nm), violet & blue (405/447/473nm), and green (532nm) wavelengths -- but if you only need protection against UV/blue/green lasers we recommend our OLY-LSG-3 which cost less (but do not protect against IR lasers).
