- 440mm diameter (18 inch) stainless steel collector (0.7mm thick), highly polished with a mirror-like finish to maximize static potential.
- Sparks over 10”
- 3”diameter shock-resistant transparent butyrate column.
- On/off switch with grounding jack for available discharge wand.
- Square plastic base with black finish helps keep charge on the collector.
- Redesigned brush assembly rarely needs adjustment.

Our standard model 500kV Van de Graaff generator will jump sparks, raise hair, light bulbs, and any number of experiments and demonstrations. Great way to study electrostatic principles. We suggest using our VDGWAND-TALL Discharge Wand for best results and maximum spark distance.
