These transformers do not have the recently mandated GFI shut down circuitry and therefore are excellent for scientific applications, tesla coils, enclosed jacob’s ladders, DC voltage multipliers, gas lasers, plasma power sources and many other specialty applications. We also supply diodes and capacitors for conversion to DC direct current.

Transformers are easily parallel connected to double, triple, quadruple, etc., current for high power applications. However, parallel connection of these units for increasing current can cause a deadly electrocution hazard.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR TESLA COIL USERS: We have found that the higher voltage units with direct leads are less prone to breakdown than ones with the "beehive" insulators. It appears that breakdown occurs at the hole cut out for the insulator.
