100 kV High Voltage Wire
Tinned-copper stranded wire, surrounded by flexible silicon insulation. This wire is best for high-voltage applications (AC or DC) up to its rated value.
We start with 40kV HV silicon-covered wire which is then threaded into polyethylene tubing for additional insulation tested in excess of 100kV. This is the HV wire we use on our components that operate above 40kV, and it is well tested and verified in performance. The polyethylene tubing is fairly rigid so this 100kV wire does not have the same flexibility as lower-voltage rated wire. Maximum length of 10-foot sections.

Special Note: it is best to avoid running this HV wire across anything grounded (like a table, touching anything metal, across the ground, etc.), as high voltage is prone to parasitic voltage loss when near ground points. So if your device is not delivering the expected voltage, be sure the HV wire is suspended in the air, with longer runs supported by ceramic or plastic insulators if possible, or if this is not possible then place a strip of plastic (the thicker the better) beneath the HV wire where it would otherwise touch the ground.
