Plasma Fire Sabers should never be used for jabbing, poking, or stabbing; or being thrown, swung around animals, people or personal property. Produce the spectacular effect that has captured the fantasies of millions. Length of visible plasma field is controlled by the position of your thumb or finger on metal strips on the handle. Sabers are available in Photon Blue, Phasor Green, Starfire Purple, Solar Yellow, Nova White, and Neon Red. Available lengths are 15", 24", and 36". Blades are also individually available. They are contained in a rugged and stiff 1/8" wall clear plastic shroud. Construction is "beefy" and very durable giving a rugged feeling. But since Plasma Fire Sabers contain glass neon tubes, they cannot be used for simulated sword play or fencing. Durability of the Plasma Fire Sabers depends on the length of the blade, thus the 15" would be the most durable and the 36" the least durable. The SAB sabers are complete and ready to use -- you just need to screw in the blade and connect the batteries.
 
Our SAB plasma saber consists of a tooled universal handle that features an override switch for steady burn and includes contact touch probes for varying the blade discharge length. The handle (11" X 2") is attractively designed and comfortable to grip and includes a wrist strap. Powered by 2 nine volt batteries (not included) that fit into the handle via a screw on cap. The electronics powers a 36" argon blade to full length with a battery voltage of less than 5 volts, providing hours of continued operation. A 36" red neon blade lights to full length at a battery voltage of 9 volts. Blades are easily changeable by a simple "screw on" action into the handle. The handle will power all size blades.

| These are the un-tooled versions that work as good if not better than the tooled ones. They are lighter and easy to assemble. The star warsTM fan may want to use the electronic circuitry and fashion his own handle like the movie version. They are available as kits with all parts to assemble with simple tubular handle |

The above photo shows a SAB50 power supply attached to an NE-series blade with the entire assembly inside a 1 inch diameter polycarbonate tube (note that this clear outer tube is not included with the blades or power supply, but shown to illustrate the compact size of this power supply). The leads exiting the rear go to a power source (batteries) and to the control probes on the handle. This allows the assembler to build the stages as desired and design his own handle, which must house the battery pack, supply room enough to slide in the rear section up to the energized section of the plasma tube, and provide the mounting surfaces for the control pads. Or he may simply use the 12 x 1-5/8 black plastic tube and fittings that we supply and make a very simple looking saber assembly. The PFS-series power supply and NE-series neon tubes are for people wanting to build a more customized saber design.

The bare neon tube, clean and bright for an elegant appearance. These tubes are somewhat delicate and they do not include a protective shroud, so care should be taken when handling.
These neon tubes are excellent for matching to your own power supply and handle for a truly customized saber design.

Patented circuit emits a changing tone being totally controlled by movement of your PLASMA FIRE SABER. This is accomplished without any physical connections! Unit may be worn on belt or remotely located up to 10 feet away. May be used in conjunction with existing sound equipment. Uses 8 AA batteries and contains a built in speaker with all controls. This is a neat addition to your saber program. Sound tone, timbre, volume is adjustable. Many internal adjustment allow unit to be very flexible with the sound quality. Uses some of our circuit magic!!
