Allows 110VAC Devices to Run on 220VAC Power, for Overseas Operation

For international customers with 220 VAC service but who need to run 110 VAC devices (mainly for products produced in the USA). These transformers are sometimes referred to as "auto transformers" -- they are not isolation transformers where the primary winding is electrically separated from the secondary winding. These units should never be used as isolation transformers, as the primary and secondary windings are not electrically isolated and therefore can be an extreme shock hazard to anybody using them for isolating electronic circuitry. But for running 110 VAC devices on 220 VAC wall power, these transformers will do the trick.
