Miniature Ferrite High Frequency Transformers

These small lightweight high efficient units were designed in our USA laboratories and manufactured in our HK facility. They are intended for field chargers, ion supplies, plasma power sources, hand held rail and coil guns, anti gravity, ozone, air purification and other small high voltage applications requiring 12 volt input. Purchase of three or more units will include a working circuit diagram with all instructions.

28K089 Transformer
7000 volt model at 10ma at approx 30 khz in potted 1 x 1 x 1" potted enclosure with PC board pins.
This transformer may be used in self oscillating circuitry where the feed back winding is utilized or, in a conventional timer controlled inverter circuit. Operates with 9 -14 vdc input.

28K077 Transformer 2000 volt model at 10ma intended for light sabers, shockers etc. Small size of .7" diameter x 11/4"length fits into a 7/8" ID tube. Uses solderable pins for terminations and high voltage lead for output.

High Voltage Pulse and Trigger Transformers

These high voltage pulse transformers supply the voltage pulses used for igniters, shockers, stun guns and triggers for laser flash tubes and high power spark switches. They are used with capacitor discharge circuitry where a capacitor is charged and then allowed to discharge into the primary where a high voltage pulse is generated in the secondary output winding. The high voltage output pin is isolated with connection leads on the opposite end.

25KV output at .5 JOULES. Use a 300 volt 1 mfd capacitor with sidac trigger for line direct operation or conventional inverter with SCR. 1" round by 1.25" long in fully potted enclosure.

High Voltage Switching Transformers

These high frequency, high voltage transformers are designed for many specialized applications such as solid state Tesla coils, plasma displays, Jacob's Ladders, drivers for DC multipliers or general purpose high voltage sources. High quality silicon rubber potting is used for the secondary coil. Output is a flexible silicon insulated lead.
12,000 Volts at 35 ma. lanced output center point grounded is intended for large Jacobs ladders, neon tube power supplies, plasma arc sources etc. Easily riven with our one half bridge 115 vac power supply with included schematic. Transformer has auxiliary 12 volt output winding, over volt sense coil and split secondary for fault current shutdown safety circuitry. This transformer was designed in our labs or high powered neon displays and is built to the latest UL specifications.

Flyback Transformer Expeimrnter Kit
    Kit includes the seven following pieces:
  • Three molded units with a secondary inductance of approximately 1 Henry. These units have a built in diode and suggested use is a high voltage circuit that uses it.
  • Open unit with diode that is easily removed. Size is 3 x 2 ½ x 2 ¼" with molded silicon secondary. Inductance is approximately 1 Henry. Easily reworked.
  • Open larger unit without diode Size is 4 x 2 ½ x 2 ¼" with molded silicon secondary. Inductance is approximately 1 Henry. Easily reworked.
  • Smaller unit without diode Size is 3 ¼: x 2 ½ x 2 with molded hard rubber secondary. Inductance is approximately 1 Henry. Easily reworked.
  • Two experimental units that can be used for many projects. There are unassembled parts with a 3500 turn molded secondary.
  • Includes schematics for a 50Kv 5ma supply and a plasma generator.
