Universal High Voltage Modular Power Supply

Out put voltage is a 60 kHz high frequency current that is fully short circuit protected. The high frequency also makes possible low storage energy voltage multiplier stacks for high voltage dc sources as well as being an excellent plasma driver when used direct. Output current is fully adjustable via a control pot. Unit is excellent for powering neon and all types of gas filled vessels using one or two electrodes or can power objects simply by proximity.

It easily retrofits to our voltage multipliers modules providing DC voltages up to 100 kv and currents of up to .3 milliampere. The current limiting and control feature make this combination an excellent choice for charging capacitors for low loss charging and 12 volt portable operation.

Also an excellent choice for powering large and small anti gravity craft and other applications requiring a high voltage current controlled source.

Module is built on a rugged printed circuit board and is mounted in a plastic channel. Complete with input and out put leads.

Front panel adjustable output plasma power supply drives plasma globes up to 14 " in diameter and other similar sized displays such as our plasma tornado etc. Single ended driver operates from automotive 12 volt or other battery or can be 115/220-vac line powered using our below 12 vdc 3 amp adapter. Open circuit voltage of 15 Kv with short circuit current of 25 ma. Frequency invariable from 20 to 35 kHz and is controlled from the front panel Unit is built on a metal chassis with plastic cover. PVM400

High-powered front panel adjustable output plasma driver operates from 115/230 vac and is intended for large plasma-globes, columns and large gas filled discharge vessels up to 30 inches. Rectangular shaped unit is 2 x 3 x 10" deep and is built on an aluminum chassis with plastic cover. A 2 x 3" panel contains the fuse power adjust control, indicator lamp and power cord exit. Output end is open with a 12" 30 Kv high voltage and 4 ' grounding lead. Factory set open circuit voltage shutdown protects the transformer from too light and no load operation. Internal circuitry protects against short circuits. Open circuit voltage is 20 Kv with a short circuit current of 25 ma load lines at 125 watts of output. The power adjust control varies the frequency from 15 to 35 kHz and controls output current. Full load output line current is 1.5 amps. This unit can also be used with a high voltage multiplier stack for obtaining DC voltages over 100 Kv. This setup allows current charging of high energy capacitors with out the need for “lossy” current limiting resistors.
